At PGL, we believe in the transformative power of outdoor learning. We see it first hand, every day. How it builds confidence, resilience, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. But we know that not every child has an opportunity to benefit from these life-enriching experiences. For many, the cost of outdoor adventure is simply out of reach. That’s where our Breakthrough Fund comes in.
Our Breakthrough Fund provides financial support to schools with pupils who need it the most, allowing their young people to experience an outdoor learning adventure. Through our Breakthrough Fund we’re not just providing funding – we’re unlocking potential.
The Breakthough Fund: Awesome adventures, affordable for all
Our Breakthrough funding is available for trips taken during the spring and autumn terms* across our exciting range of programmes.
Spring is the ideal time to refresh, re-invigorate and re-engage with your class. A season of growth, longer days give opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities, foster creativity and create a vibrant environment to bring learning to life.
Top pick for spring: For primary schools, spring is a perfect time for pupils to take their first steps into outdoor adventure with our PIONEER! programme. Whilst for secondary schools, THRIVE! offers students time to reflect and focus on their wellbeing ahead of summer exams.
Autumn is the perfect start to the academic year – a chance to energise and motivate your class, forge new friendships, connect pupils and teachers, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Top pick for autumn: Harness the power of teamwork with UNITE! our relationship boosting adventure for primary and secondary schools.
