At PGL, we are so privileged to positively impact the lives of young people – Every. Single. Day.
With great privilege comes great responsibility, and that’s why we work hard to ensure that every adventure we create is Better Beyond Adventure, not just for our guests, but for the planet and communities we serve as well.
While caring for our places and planet, we’re championing wellbeing, and acting progressively for all our colleagues, customers, and communities.
Our pillars of Better Beyond Adventure
We care for our places and planet. We champion wellbeing and play our part in society by acting progressively for the betterment of our colleagues, customers and communities.
Our Better Beyond Adventure pillars are:
OUR PLACES, OUR PLANET
Environmental responsibility is always central to our thinking. We’re taking important steps to minimise our impact on the places in which we live and work, and on the precious planet we all share.
CHAMPIONS OF WELLBEING
We’re a people business and supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees and guests is at the heart of everything we do.
PLAYING OUR PART
We want to help make a better, fairer world. Through governing progressively and acting as a force for good, we ’re determined to play our part.

Breakthrough Highlight
Protecting the wildlife at PGL Marchants Hill
Nestled in the stunning Surrey countryside, Marchants Hill is just a stone’s throw from The Devil’s Punchbowl – a magical spot and official Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). This natural habitat is buzzing (and scampering!) with British wildlife. Think roe deer, wood mice, hedgehogs, badgers, and red foxes, not to mention plenty of chirping birds.
The Marchants Hill team decided to welcome our furry and feathered neighbours by building them new homes! From bird boxes to hedgehog hideaways and buzzing bee houses, these wildlife shelters quickly became home to many creatures. Now, we’re adding signs so visitors can learn how to enjoy the local critters’ company respectfully. Do come say hello!
