Holiday badge
Celebrate a brownie holiday at PGL and your group can earn a holiday badge. You’ve got Easter, Eid, Diwali, Hanukkah and Lunar New Year, so there’s plenty of chance for your group to earn their badges.
How to earn Girl Guide badges: Holiday badges
Joining us for one of the holidays? Why not give your unit a little treat with one of the holiday badges? You could teach them a bit about the traditions of the holiday or celebrate the time while here at PGL.
Camper badge
There are a few different camp and bushcraft badges that you could earn or work towards at PGL. For Guides, you’ve got Camp Stage 3-5, Backwoods cooking and Whittling. Develop your Guides’ skills with our Bushcraft activities and help them on their badge collection journey!
Communicator badge
Communication is key in all adventures! The Communicate badges are fantastic and develop a unique range of communication skills that can come in handy in many situations. For Guides, the recommended badges are from stages 3-5, including activities like ‘Beat the butterflies!’, ‘Act it out’ and ‘Rhubard and custard’.
The communication skills learned while your Guides work their way through these stages are invaluable! It’ll help them to express themselves and communicate effectively with others.
Sports badge
Get involved with our terrific sports activities on camp and earn your Sports badge. Whether your Guides are playing football, netball, rugby or anything else, they can work their way towards earning new badges to add to their collection.
How to earn Girl Guide badges: Sports Badge
For your Guides to earn their Sports badge, they need to take part in a sports activity that involves equipment, a game and rules. Well, they can certainly do that here!
Watersports badge
Are your Guides water adventurers? They can earn or work their way towards achieving their Water adventure badge while at PGL. Join in with our watersports activities on a group adventure!
How to earn Girl Guide badges: Watersports badge
For your Girl Guides to earn their water adventure badge, they’ll need to take part in a water activity where they’ll get a tad wet! This can include the following activities:
- Canoeing
- Canyoning
- Dragon Boating
- Improvised Rafting
- Stand-up paddleboarding
- Surfing
- Swimming
- Inflatable obstacle courses
