Why is building relationships important for students?

Building relationships is crucial for students as it helps them develop key social skills like communication, empathy, and teamwork, which are essential both inside and outside the classroom.

For Year 6 pupils, UNITE! helps set the foundation for success in their crucial SATs year. Meanwhile, for Year 7 students, UNITE! is ideal for creating strong bonds among peers, helping them navigate the transition to secondary school with confidence.

What adventure activities are included in the UNITE! programme?

The UNITE! programme offers a wide variety of relationship-building activities such as Archery Tag, Giant Swing, Jacob’s Ladder, and Problem Solving challenges. Each activity is designed to foster trust, cooperation, and effective team building, helping students create stronger connections.

Is the UNITE! programme suitable for all Year 6’s and Year 7’s?

Yes! The UNITE! programme is specifically designed to support Year 6 pupils and Year 7 students as they transition into the new school year, creating lasting memories along the way. Our experienced instructors tailor activities to ensure everyone can participate, learn, and grow at their own pace while being fully supported.

What evening activities are available?

We offer a variety of fun and engaging evening activities to complement the day’s adventures. These include campfires, quizzes, group challenges, and interactive games. Each evening activity provides an opportunity for students to relax, socialise, and continue building relationships in a fun, supportive environment.

What’s the accommodation like?

Depending on your school residential trip location, students will mostly be staying in dormitory-style rooms situated in our main buildings, chalets and more, with tent villages also being available at some locations.

Our dormitory rooms can hold large groups, some of which feature en suites and some with shared facilities. For teachers, we have single and en suite rooms and tents which can sleep one or two teachers.

What meals are provided during the UNITE! programme?

During the UNITE! programme, students are provided with three nutritious and balanced meals each day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We cater to a variety of dietary needs and preferences, ensuring all students have healthy options to fuel their activities.

Simply let us know of any specific needs, and we’ll take care of the rest!
